The issue of homosexuality and same-sex attraction is one of the biggest pastoral and missional questions facing the Christian Church today.
In order to assist you in dealing with this issue – theologically, pastorally and missionally – Ridley College is presenting a series of events with Dr Wesley Hill, author of Washed and Waiting: The Church and Same-sex Attraction.
Ridley is bringing Wes Hill out next August. Wes is a NT lecturer at Trinity School for Ministry (Pittsburgh) and author of “Washed and Waiting: The church and same-sex attraction”.
Wesley Hill (PhD, Durham University, UK) is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He is the author of Washed and Waiting: Reflections on Christian Faithfulness and Homosexuality (Zondervan, 2010), Paul and the Trinity (Eerdmans, 2015), and his next book, Spiritual Friendship: Finding Love in the Church as a Celibate Gay Christian, will be released in April 2015 from Brazos Press. He has written for Books & Culture, Christianity Today, and First Things. He co-founded and writes regularly for SpiritualFriendship.org.
