PREPARE/ENRICH is the leading relationship assessment and skills-building program used nationally and internationally, built on a solid research foundation and proven to significantly improve a couple’s relationship.
A recent independent study found couples who participated in a PREPARE/ENRICH group program exhibited positive gains in knowledge, felt more confident in their relationship, engaged in more positive conflict management behaviors, and felt more satisfied with their relationship. (Futris and colleagues, 2011).
The program has these goals:
- To explore Relationship Strengths and Growth Areas;
- To learn Assertiveness and Active Listening Skills;
- To learn how to resolve conflict;
- To help the couple discuss their Family-of-Origin;
- To help the couple cope better with stressors;
- To focus on personal, couple and family goals.
This program is designed to help couples celebrate their strengths and identify their growth areas and encourage them to dialogue about their relationship in meaningful and productive ways. Additionally the program aims to increase practical relationship skills in Communication, Conflict Resolution, Closeness, Flexibility, and Financial Management and increase understanding of relationship issues.
This course runs on both Wednesday 13th April 7-9pm & Saturday 16th April 10am to 3pm.
This course is held at the St Hilary's Church, Education Centre. 12 John Street, Kew, Victoria.
